At our December meeting we held the nominations and election of the officers for our Retiree Club for the next two years, 2011-2012. The following people were elected to the following offices: Chairman, William Crookshank, Vice Chairman, Joseph Trombetta, Treasurer, Jack Wurzel, Secretary Larry Albrecht and three trustees for our club, George Kavros, Charles Nolf and Walter Urbanczyk.

Then on Wednesday, December 8, we held our annual Christmas buffet-dinner dance at the Fez in Hopewell Township. Once again we were very fortunate that the weather cooperated with us on this day. We had a little bit of rain but there was no snow that evening. We received a lot of
compliments from those present about how good the food was. I would like to thank those members on the Recreation and Social Committee for their time and effort in making this a very enjoyable evening for those members of our Retiree Club who attended this event.

I once again would like to remind all of our members that we do not send out reminders when the dues for our Retiree Club are due. The dues for our Retiree Club should be paid no later than December 31, 2010 for the upcoming year 2011. Please make your check payable to:

I would like to suggest that you put our Treasurer’s address in your address book so when you have to pay your dues you will know who to send your dues to. The dues for a year are $6.00.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Bill Hollowood, the President of our Local Lodge, for coming to our meetings and keeping us informed about what is happening at US Airways and also to remind all of our members that our Retiree Club meets the first Tuesday of every month at 11:00 A. M. at the Hopewell VFW.
